I did a flight with the autopilot, then a manual landing.<br />
I pressed the autopilot DISC / FD OFF button on the yoke.<br />
But the ARM ALT lights on the annunciator panel remain ON.</p>

Hi it seems you are correct when I use other avionics the ARM &amp; ALT light go out. Seems it's something with the GNS 530.</p>

I can check the behavior soon, but perhaps it was a fluke with the GNS 530, which has its own autopilot implementation from Working Title?  I would be interested to know if you see this again with a different avionics choice.  I'll check it myself when I have a chance too.</p>
