Just wanted to drop in and say I bought the FS2020 version of this yesterday and it works beautifully.

One of the best Concorde models I’ve yet experienced and it sounds - at silly volume through my very deep bass speakers - very much like I remember hearing her….

Another top flight, Just Flight product.

It's actually a top flight DC Designs product, but thanks for letting us know. We are proud to have been able to help with its success.

    Hi Derek,

Indeed you’re right, it’s a DC Designs product, but, I found it via the Just Flight website whom I presume are the marketers / promoters, so I think my point stands… :D

Same problem - around 80kn 1 engine shuts down, followed by other 3 a few moments later. Only able to resolve by shutting down (CTRL>SHIFT>E) and restarting (CTRL>E) before takeoff roll.

@trailboss Sorry, disregard my question. I'm on a long flight and just messing with the FMS keys I figured out how to get to letters.

    @nigel318
PS - I've got about 80 aircraft in my FSX collection and all their autopilots work fine on ILS approaches.

Which would suggest that it's worth contacting JF support. I am fairly sure the punters would have been beating the doors down by now if this didn't work. If you have a read through the thread you'll see this seems to be resolved for other users.

@RunawayAtLarge said in Concorde paint job for Landor livery?:

Wondering if anyone might be able to repaint and fix these 2 little issues for me on the Landor livery please.

Even though the liveries are mistakenly filed under MSFS and not FSX, this might help.

    We're all friends now - good! :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

"Inertial Navigation System based upon simulator's internal GPS / flight plan system"

My emphasis. Easy to miss this in the current (until the page gets edited) description, but that was a clue. Unfortunately it was tucked away in the "small print" of the detailed description.

Thanks for the information Dean! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: There are working barber poles on subsonic aircraft in FSX, as you no doubt already know, but of course they are different ASI gauges not related to Concorde's unique characteristics.
@SpeedbirdCanada thanks for your input regarding the numbers.

@SpeedbirdCanada said in Enjoyed first 2 flights but.....:

......so I can load fuel for slightly shorter flights and not fight with CoG problems.

As a quick start, remove some fuel from Centre 2 (fsx fuel and payload) that way you have room to pump fuel back ASAP if required and of course less fuel in Centre 2 to begin with means less fuel overall.

I'm trying to alter the autothrottle parameters such that the autopilot will not kick in the reheat at subsonic speeds, nor will it do so for the supersonic acceleration from Mach 1.5 ? to 2+ (autothrottle_max_rpm) I've set it to 96% and will experiment further. I'm looking to set the Mach hold at 2.0 and leave it there during the supersonic climb without having to nudge the speed up in 0.1 increments. I may alter the rate of climb according to skin temperature. Obviously this change will not give reheat for TOGA I believe, but I personally can live with that (if I'm going around then some of that process will not be on autopilot.. for me anyway ;) ).

One thing we can hopefully all agree on is to have a Merry Christmas!! :christmas_tree: :christmas_tree:

@Cropduster47 I have checked this here in both FSX and Prepar3D and the reheats are working correctly. It's very hard to diagnose what the problem could be that you're having as I cannot reproduce it here. I will keep an eye on things though in case somebody else sees the same problems.
