Duchess Model 76

We released an update this morning for the Duchess Model 76 (X-Plane 12) which adds the option to toggle the RealityXP 750 via the EFB. The update can be downloaded via the Skunkcrafts Updater.

V1.0.1 Changelog:
-Fixed dirt layer (Left wing was not getting very dirty)
-Fixed REP GTN750 support

Thank you for the kind words. X-Plane is a valuable sim platform that has its advantages over MSFS and a dedicated and knowledgeable user base, so we would never want to leave all that behind! There are lots more X-Plane products in the pipeline from us, and we will be announcing our next aircraft very soon!

The flaps don't work on a notched system. The flap switch in a Duchess is spring loaded, it has to be held in position. So when held down, the flaps move down. Release it and they maintain position.

When I did my Duchess flying we memorised the time to each setting. It was 4 seconds from 0 to 10, but then oddly only 2 seconds to 20! Flaps were deployed at a time when your eyes were either outside or glued to the instruments so being able to get the flaps to the right position without watching the gauge was vital. A quick glance at the flap indicator was all was needed to verify the setting.

In this respect the model is accurate in how the flaps work.

We've not seen any other reports of this but will investigate it now.

We've not experienced any performance issues during the development and testing processes. Can you get in touch with the support team so we can investigate that further?
